Layers of
Love.
I am inside the batter
I have been baked alive
I have been renewed with sweetness.
I am inside
His ingredients
I eat my way
To the surface.
Consumed and integrated
And so very full
I see through His eyes today.
I pop out of the caketop
Surprise!
A wonderful gift
Of rising sons and daughters unfolding.
