Seasons

Seasons

I’m crying Lord

What is this sting?

As seasons pass

Grief

For

The passing of time.

We want to hold on

They say

Those parts of me

So afraid of change.

Hiding from the abruptness

Of this life

Come out

Come out

Little ones

Yes it is full of

Monsters

This world

But also friends!

Come see

Little ones

Who can make sense

Of it all.

They will hold you

In their arms

Protect you

From gail forces

Cheer you

As you dance

In the summer rain

Move snowflakes

To fall on your nose

Just so

And bless you

With son shine to warm your face

Our biggest delight

Is to see you smile

Freedom

To watch you move

Mountains

To proclaim your victory

Jesus

To crown your glory

Body

To march forward

Ekklesia

To sound our trumpets

Angels

For all seasons

Of heaven

And on earth

We are with you

Even if you do not

See feel hear acknowledge

We stand waiting

Towering lovely awesome

Sentinels

We are waiting

To protect you

To love you

To honor you

Us We

In

Victory.

Happy New Year!
